Red Ribbons of Destiny (Introduction)

Red Ribbons of Destiny

Introduction

According to the East Asian beliefs originally inspired by the Chinese legends of the Red Threads of Fate, people fated by the gods to be together as 'true lovers' are tied together by a red thread, generally thought to be tied to their little fingers.
These people thus connected are destined to be together regardless of place, time, or circumstances.

There are more ways to connect than merely as lovers. The Universe is a tapestry of interwoven threads, bound between people and events, across time and dimension and space. Some threads merely cross while others are bound and connected and we touch upon each other's lives for a reason, even if we don't always understand the reasons at the time.

I believe in ribbons, the Universe as sentient, the stories we receive given to us for a reason; to teach, to strengthen, to give hope and courage and inspiration. This place, this platform, is where I hope to be able to share some of those stories.

Welcome to The Voices of the Ribbons.

Giving thanks to the inspiration I received from Jun and The8 of K-pop idol group Seventeen for their MV MyI.

I'm aiming to post weekly from the beginning of February so I hope you'll join me on the journey.

  2. I love this idea and totally embrace it. I think it's interesting when you meet people and have an almost immediate connection (or vice versa and there is a feeling that causes you to not trust them).
